Welcome to Midwestern University Graduate Medical Education (GME) Consortium, an ACGME accredited Institutional Sponsor for nine residency programs and one fellowship located across four hospitals and one clinic:  Canyon Vista Medical Center [Family Medicine & Internal Medicine] in Sierra Vista Arizona; Kingman Regional Medical Center [Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine] in Kingman Arizona; Mountain Vista Medical Center [Family Medicine, General Surgery, Internal Medicine] in Mesa Arizona; Midwestern University Multispecialty Clinic, Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (ONMM3) in Glendale Arizona; and Verde Valley Medical Center [Internal Medicine] in Cottonwood Arizona.

Each residency training site provides the highest quality clinical experience necessary to train future physician healthcare professionals. The primary focus of our Sponsoring Institution, is to provide support that will facilitate a quality clinical learning environment within each program across each hospital site and clinic. Residents and fellows can expect a stimulating educational environment with exposure to a diverse variety, scope and volume of patients, and will participate in a comprehensive ACGME curriculum. Graduates will be well prepared for autonomous practice in rural and metropolitan locations.

OUR MISSION

The MWU GME Consortium serves as an institutional sponsor for ACGME sponsored accredited programs, with a focused commitment to osteopathic principles and practices, development, and support of clinical rotations. Our member hospitals, residency and fellowship programs are committed to a quality learning environment, under the guidance of exceptional program directors and faculty, with focus on delivery of quality patient care in our communities and highly developing skills residents and fellows.

OUR AIMS

To support residents, fellow and physician faculty well-being; provide resources for Osteopathic Recognition; clinical research and scholarly activity; curricular development assistance; competency-based faculty development programs; assist in the advancement and graduation of proficient residents and fellows.
