Welcome to Midwestern University GME Consortium an ACGME accredited Institutional Sponsor for ten residency programs and one fellowship located across four hospitals and two clinics: Advanced Desert Dermatology, Peoria Arizona, Canyon Vista Medical Center [Family Medicine & Internal Medicine], Sierra Vista Arizona, Kingman Regional Medical Center [Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine], Kingman Arizona, Mountain Vista Medical Center [Family Medicine, General Surgery, Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology Fellowship], Mesa Arizona, Midwestern University Multispecialty Clinic, Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (ONMM3), Glendale Arizona and Verde Valley Medical Center [Internal Medicine], Cottonwood Arizona.

Each residency training site provides the highest quality clinical experience necessary to train future physician healthcare professionals. The primary focus of our Sponsoring Institution, is to provide support that will facilitate a quality clinical learning environment within each program across each hospital site and clinic. Residents and fellows can expect a stimulating educational environment with exposure to a diverse variety, scope and volume of patients, and will participate in a comprehensive ACGME curriculum. Graduates will be well prepared for autonomous practice in rural and metropolitan locations.


The Midwestern University GME Consortium provides Institutional sponsorship for osteopathic postdoctoral training programs with a focused commitment to osteopathic principles and practice; creates clinical education opportunities for osteopathic medical students; supports trainee clinical research and scholarly activity; enhances faculty teaching and assessment skills; supports curricular and accreditation activities of member institutions and programs; and promotes development of osteopathic postdoctoral training programs.
